The Pleasant Valley Baptist Church has been a voice in the Lynchburg community for well over a century. Our congregation is made up of a broad range of people that includes families with young children, parents with older children, teenagers, married and single adults, and people in their senior years. We firmly believe that God gives each Christian spiritual gifts, as well as,a special perspective from which to communicate the Salvation story. The results of these gifts is a congregation with a broad array of talents, skills and personal stories to use in the service of the Lord.
Simply put..........We are much like you- trying to find the time and energy to fit everything in each week and keep life in balance.To do that we're convinced that we need wisdom and love beyond our own limited capabilities.. In our Bible study time and worship services all ages learn principles for successful living that work not only on Sundays, but every other day of the week.
We sincerely hope you'll look further into what makes our church what it is. Come let us share the joys that we have found. Oh yeah don't spend your wakening moments worrying about what to wear. We will accept you just as you are.
